Canadian Quantum continues to participate with its partners Talisman Energy and Questerre Energy in three permits which include the Gentilly Permit. Canadian Quantum and its partners have jointly drilled and cased the Gentilly #2HZ horizontal well that is awaiting completion.
Canadian Quantum holds a 50% interest in a fourth permit being the Nicolet Permit which is strategically positioned in the heart of the fairway. The Nicolet Permit will be evaluated this summer with ~150 km of new 2-D seismic. This seismic program will facilitate the planning and optimization of future horizontal wells to be drilled on the 59,090 acre Nicolet Permit.
